Celine Foelmli

Celine Foelmli

Hello, I’m Céline an ICF PCC Certified Integrated Coach originally from Switzerland, now PR based in Singapore since 2002. My journey across cultures, careers and life transitions has shaped both who I am and how I coach: with empathy, clarity and grounded presence.

I help individuals and professionals navigate challenges, change, uncertainty and self-doubt so they can move forward with confidence, purpose and emotional balance.

My coaching focuses on the present and the future, understanding where you are today and where you aspire to be.
I take an integrated approach, seeing you as a whole person, exploring your foundations, not only your goals, but also how your work, relationships and well-being connect and influence one another.

For clients struggling with procrastination, ADHD, or focus challenges, I bring structure, accountability and practical tools to sustain progress and build self-trust.

My coaching blends professional expertise with personal experience, integrating:

• ICF Coaching Competencies & Methodologies
• Mindset and emotional intelligence work
• Limiting beliefs and cognitive biases
• NLP and NVC communication tools
• DISC & Enneagram tools, 360’ Feedback
• Breathing work, mindfulness

Together, we create a safe space for reflection and transformation, helping you realign with your values, identity, strengthen focus and take meaningful steps toward a balanced and fulfilling life.

Being married for over 20 years and raising two children, now 16 and 18, has given me deep insight into the dynamics of relationships, communication and personal growth through life’s different stages.

When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me enjoying gastronomy, sports, art making and outdoor adventures.
I find joy and inspiration in meaningful conversations, time with family and friend and a joyful energy when walking my two dogs.
To me, personal growth doesn’t start and stop at work, it’s a lifelong journey, nourished by curiosity and connection.

What is the greatest reward in being a counsellor for the queer community?

The greatest reward is seeing clients feel empowered to embrace their authentic selves and move forward with confidence and self-acceptance.

What is the greatest challenge in being a counsellor for the queer community?

As a coach rather than a mental health provider, I don’t offer therapy, but I recognise that one of the greatest challenges faced by the queer community is finding safe and inclusive spaces where they feel fully seen, heard and respected.

What was your path to becoming a therapist?

Before becoming a coach, my work was deeply connected to personal identity, corporate Identity, marketing and Multimedia. When raising my children, I developed a strong interest in personal development, learning and performance psychology, for myself and for them. Our son pursued football at a competitive level, and our daughter became an amateur golfer, both experiences that revealed the power of mindset and emotional regulation in achieving goals.
Years ago, a severe back condition became a turning point, prompting deep reflection on my purpose and the next chapter of my life. To support my recovery, I trained as a Yoga Instructor, focusing on back injuries. In the process, I gained valuable insights into breathing techniques, meditation, and the connection between body and mind. This experience reinforced my decision to go even deeper and dedicate myself to helping others find clarity, confidence and meaning in both their personal and professional lives. This personal journey inspired me to formalise my passion through professional training. I completed ICF-accredited certifications (ACC and PCC) and continue to grow, embracing continuous learning as a core part of my practice.
Another coaching topic that is particularly close to my heart is money mindset and financial independence for women, empowering them to transform their lives and achieve their goals.

What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?

I am particularly inspired by how neuroscience and coaching methodologies are evolving hand in hand.
Research increasingly supports the effectiveness of evidence-based coaching approaches that focus on the present and the future. The growing understanding of how the brain responds to thought patterns, habits, and emotions allows coaches to help clients rewire limiting beliefs, build resilience and enhance performance through practical, sustainable strategies.
This evolution is reshaping coaching into a transformative, science-informed practice. Another encouraging evolution is happening in the workplace. Many of my clients have suffered from outdated leadership styles, but change is underway. As organisations embrace modern, emotionally intelligent leadership and provide employee support programs, we are seeing real progress toward healthier, more human-centered work environments. This gives me great hope for the future of mental well-being at work.

What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?

ICF credentials must be renewed every three years, which involves continuous professional development and training aligned with the latest research in neuroscience, coaching methodologies and competencies. Over the past 18 months, I have also focused on personal work around public speaking challenges in relation with personal identity and confidence building.
I learn constantly through client feedback and reflection and maintain regular mentorship, which supports my growth and ensures I stay aligned with best practices in the profession.

What advice would you give to someone who is hesitant to try therapy?

It’s difficult to see new results by repeating the same actions. If you’re seeking change, you may need to try something different and coaching can be a great place to start. It offers a supportive, forward-focused space to explore new perspectives, gain clarity and take meaningful steps toward the life you want. The best way to know is to try, take the first step by booking a free call and starting a conversation. Sometimes, simply talking about what’s on your mind can open the door to clarity and change.

What kind of training have you had in working with the LGBTQ population?

I have not had specific training in working with the queer population, as I do not provide therapy. However, my coaching practice is fully inclusive and non-judgmental. I work with each client as an individual, supporting them with the same level of respect, care, and commitment to help them achieve their personal and professional goals. Everyone is welcome in my coaching space.

What should someone know about working with you?

Working with me means entering a safe, confidential and collaborative space that is focused on moving forward.
My coaching style is integrative, compassionate and thought-provoking, I don’t give advice, but instead guide clients to uncover their own insights, new perspectives, strengths and solutions. Be ready to leave each session with clarity, a strategy, an action plan and a reliable accountability partner by your side.
I believe that success is not one-size-fits-all, each person has a unique definition of fulfilment and together we build a personalised roadmap to reach it.
Clients often describe my approach as grounded, insightful and empowering.Using a Systemic and Emotionally Focused approach, I integrate these two approaches with other therapeutic modalities to support my clients in the most effective way possible.

How do your own core values shape your approach to therapy?

My core values: authenticity, honesty, creativity, growth, empathy and balance are at the heart of my coaching approach. They guide me to create a safe and genuine space where clients feel heard, respected and empowered to explore what truly matters to them.

Are you a queer affirmative practitioner?

No
