What was your path to becoming a therapist?

My journey to becoming a therapist took an unconventional path. I originally studied business and spent a decade navigating both corporate and startup environments. While this experience provided valuable insights into high-pressure work settings, I felt an increasing pull toward something more fulfilling, helping people on a deeper level. Over time, I came to realize that my natural empathy, deep listening skills, and personal experiences had always drawn me toward understanding human behavior and well-being. This realization led me to transition into the field of hypnotherapy. I trained as a Clinical Hypnotherapist (PDHyp) at ICCHP (UK), a program accredited by various international organizations, and I am currently pursuing a degree in psychology to further expand my knowledge. Having lived and worked in multiple countries, I’ve had the privilege of engaging with people from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds. These experiences have shaped my therapeutic approach, one that is adaptable, non-judgmental, and deeply client-centered.

What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?

I’m most excited about the growing recognition of the holistic/integrative approach to mental health, where therapies like hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and integrative practices are gaining more acceptance alongside traditional methods. There’s a shift toward treating the person as a whole which aligns with my own approach to healing. I'm also excited by the increasing use of neuroscience to better understand how different therapies work on the brain, as well as the broader accessibility of mental health support through technology, like online therapy and self-help tools. This evolving landscape offers so many opportunities to provide more personalized, effective care.

What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?

To continue learning and building competencies as a provider in hypnotherapy, I focus on ongoing education through advanced courses and workshops, staying informed on the latest research in the field. I seek guidance from mentors and peers to refine my techniques and expand my knowledge. Regular practice, client feedback, and reflection on my work help me stay attuned to what works best for different individuals. Additionally, engaging with the broader hypnotherapy community allows me to exchange ideas, learn new methods, and ensure my practice remains current and effective.

What should someone know about working with you?

My priority is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard and respected. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, we work together to explore what’s going on, what you need, and how best to move forward. I take a gentle, compassionate approach, while also encouraging honest reflection and empowering you to make meaningful changes at your own pace. I adapt each session to your unique needs, drawing from a variety of therapeutic tools like hypnotherapy, CBT, EMDR, and EFT to support you in the most effective way possible. Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or simply feeling the need for change, I’m here to guide and support you ; always with care, presence, and a deep respect for your individual story.
