Juliana Pang

Juliana Pang is a Registered Counsellor and Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling, with a Master’s degree in Counselling from Monash University. Juliana has strong experience supporting individuals and couples through diverse mental health and life challenges in private clinics and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).

Juliana uses an integrated, evidence-based approach incorporating EMDR therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Couple’s Therapy (EFCT), and Mindfulness. She provides holistic support in addressing trauma, substance or behaviour addiction, anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, grief, and relationship issues.

With nearly 20 years of corporate experience, Juliana brings a grounded, practical perspective for clients navigating workplace stress, career transitions, and complex work–life pressures, blending clinical expertise with real-world insight.

Having lived and worked across Asia, Australia, and Europe, Juliana offers culturally sensitive counselling that respects diverse backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures. She is committed to helping clients feel understood, supported, and equipped to build resilience through life’s challenges.
Juliana conducts therapy in both English and Mandarin.

What is the greatest challenge in being a counsellor for the queer community?

Not having the personal lived experience.

What was your path to becoming a therapist?

I started Coaching when I was still in my corporate role and transitioned to counselling as I saw the need to address personal mental health in order to achieve a florishing life.

What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?

The use of AI as part of the treatment eco-system. I am currently working on testing a project with https://soulmap.org/

What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider?

I take training programmes and listen in to regular podcats on mental health.

What advice would you give to someone who is hesitant to try therapy?

There is no harm in talking about the hesitence. You always have the empowerment to say no, you are not ready to start.

What kind of training have you had in working with the LGBTQ population?

No specific training but general exposure and learning through range of clientele over the years.

What should someone know about working with you?

I am collaborative and would incorporate your insights as part of the treatment planning. I am known to be a warm person while steady and firm where needed.

Being kind, respectful and dedicated.
