Dr. Tan Yeow May is a clinical psychologist with over eight years of experience working with adolescents and adults in diverse Government and Community settings across Western Australia and Singapore. Her professional background includes working with individuals in in-patient and out-patient hospitals, rehabilitation centres, and prison environments.
Her therapeutic approach is primarily rooted in dynamically oriented and attachment-based methodologies, focusing on addressing the deeper, underlying issues that often present as symptomatic problems. She emphasises the importance of exploring the core contexts in which a person’s distress develops, believing that without adequate processing, unresolved issues may lead to further challenges manifesting in various aspects of life.
