Hi, I am Aly. I started 归, Gūi Psychology with the intention to provide a safe, respectful and non-judgmental space for individuals who are keen on a journey to “come home to” themselves – to (re)connect with who they are, to befriend parts of themselves they are aware of, to discover parts of themselves they might be unaware of, and to explore parts that might be in the way of a fuller, more meaningful life.
My work with clients is guided by an integrative attachment informed and acceptance-based approach that draws on therapeutic modalities that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Attachment-based Psychotherapy, Functional Analytic Psychotherapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Beyond my clinical work, I am also committed to a lifelong practice of Mindfulness that I am keen to share about through the 8-week Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program and mindfulness-related talks and workshops.
