Violeta Tsolova is a psychotherapist and founder of Mentally Wise, where she works with adults, adolescents and families. Previously a lawyer and an entrepreneur Violeta is well versed in the challenges of demanding jobs.
She has worked at law firms and at the United Nations as a lawyer, and in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments as a businessperson. She has lived in 7 countries on 5 continents and has a vast experience working with people from various cultures, backgrounds and ages.
Violeta has a pluralistic therapeutic approach and uses her vast training to personalize therapy to each individual. She uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to allow clients to gain full understanding of how their thoughts and emotions influence their behaviours, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to help regulate emotions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to accept life’s challenges and build resilience, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients make changes they find difficult or overwhelming.
